You can update your email address yourself, but your mobile number must be updated by us.

How to close the account
Due to security requirements, termination of a deposit account must be submitted in writing via a message in the online bank. Please note that the account will be closed as soon as the Bank has been notified, and it is not possible to request account closure at a future time or on a specific date.
The customer must first withdraw the available balance. The Bank will then assist with the payment of accrued interest.
Log in to the online bank and initiate a payment for the available balance under “Betalinger”, then send a message under “Meldinger” stating that you wish to close the account, including the account number for the payment of accrued interest. This must be an account you own in another Norwegian bank and must not require a KID.
There is no obligation to notify the Bank in advance when closing the account. The account has 11 free withdrawals per calendar year, including the payment of accrued interest upon closure. Please refer to the price list on our website.

How to avoid fraud
Never disclose your BankID information, codes or passwords to anyone. The bank, the police or any other party will never ask you to provide such information. If you are asked to provide BankID details, it is fraud.
If you receive an email or SMS containing a link and are unsure whether it is safe to open, search for the organisation’s official website yourself and access it from there. If you wish to contact the bank in writing, log in to the online bank and send a secure message.
Be alert — there is no limit to how sophisticated fraud attempts can be. If something does go wrong, please call us as soon as possible.
